What SpendFloor is
SpendFloor is a personal finance tool built and operated by an individual, not a company. It is not a commercial product, and it does not sell, share, or monetize your data in any way.
What data it stores
SpendFloor stores your bank transactions, account balances, and the recurring bill/income rules you set up, in order to calculate what is safe to spend. This data lives in a private database and is used only to power the app for its intended user.
Bank connections
Bank accounts are linked via Plaid. Your bank credentials go directly to Plaid and your bank; SpendFloor never sees or stores your username or password. SpendFloor receives read-only access to transaction and balance data through Plaid's API.
Third parties
- Plaid - bank connection and transaction sync
- Anthropic - powers the in-app chat assistant, which sees your transaction and rule data in order to answer questions about it
- Supabase - database and backend hosting
- Vercel - website and app hosting
No data is sold or shared for advertising purposes.
Data deletion
Since this is a single-operator personal tool rather than a company with a support team, data deletion requests are handled directly. Contact the address below.
